242 Church exists because we believe the Church belongs to Jesus.
Our desire is not to create a better church experience but to cultivate a community that is fully devoted to Christ and dependent upon the Holy Spirit.
We believe lasting transformation happens when people encounter God personally, submit to His Word, and walk together in authentic biblical community.
About Us
What makes 242 Church different?
Presence Before Performance
We are not interested in creating religious spectators.
We want to create space where people genuinely encounter God.
Prayer Before Programs
Prayer is not something we do before ministry.
Prayer is the ministry.
Scripture Before Opinions
God’s Word—not culture, trends, personal preferences or personalities—is our foundation.
Spirit-Filled Living Before Religious Activity
We are not interested in outward Christianity without inward transformation.
We desire lives continually surrendered to the Holy Spirit and conformed to Christ.
Fellowship Before Isolation
We were not created to follow Jesus alone.
We pursue authentic relationships where believers encourage one another, grow together, and carry each other’s burdens.
Communion Before Consumerism
Church is not a place to attend—it is a family to belong to.
We are committed to living life together through discipleship, encouragement, and shared devotion to Christ.
Transformation Before Attendance
Our goal is not simply to fill seats.
Our goal is to make passionate disciples who make passionate disciples of Jesus.

About Salvation

About the church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, and proclaim the Gospel to the world.
